My name is Alan Rait, and you've found my site dedicated to the art of flying radio controlled helicopters!

My son Michael and I, started flying radio controlled helicopters in October 1999. For the first year progress was gradual due to the British climate, demands from my occupation and other factors. After Christmas 2001, things moved on. For the details, follow the link "Progress".

In the following pages you'll find out about my progress, the machines I fly, and have flown in the past, and the various people I've met and flown with over the years. There are sections on Jargon, Maintenance, Aerobatics and a whole lot more that I hope will take the mystery out of the hobby for beginners.
